I've never thought that I will be able to participate an Olympiad worse than the one 2 years ago at Cluj...Well, I can no longer say that, The one at Ramnicu Valcea was way worse.
We started extremely well. We arrived a day earlier than the others, because our city is far away and if we had arrived on the same day as the others, the contest itself being the next day we wouldn't have made it. When we arrived we found out that the girls and the boys "lived" in different hostels(on opposite sides of the campus, we thought that we could live with that so we didn't bother too much. We were given room number 13 (lucky number XD) and we were announced that we had no key, so when we left the room we had to live it open(the lock was actually broken on the outside, but we could close it on thee inside). They said they could only get the lock done by Monday(It was Saturday). We didn't like it at all, but we had no other choices. The room was extremely hot so we had to sleep with our windows open(It was extremely cold outside so we decided to let it stay open all the time except the time we're sleeping or staying near the window so that we won't get a flu or something else). I won't comment on the bath's condition (public, of course).
We went to bed, talked a while and went to sleep(We didn't lock the door because we were thinking that if they expect us leave the room and leave it open, with all three of us inside it wouldn't have been a problem).I listened to some music, as I usually do before going to sleep if I don't have a computer and after noticing I was sleepy enough I let my iPod next to my pillow(that means next to my head too) and left my cellphone that I just go 4 days ago on the table so that I'd make sure I'll wake up next day's morning. I think it was around 4 when I first weak up, I noticed my iPod wasn't there any more, I didn't make much fuss about it thinking it might have fallen or something else and went back to sleep. I fell asleep and after a while(it was around 5:30) one of my room-mates, Ruxi woke me up suddenly. I Was still very sleepy, after 12 hours on the train and I fell asleep at 1 o'clock it was natural, so I didn't pay much attention to her and actually mumbled something like "LEAVE ME ALONE, IT'S STILL EARLY". As soon as she said all our mobile phones have disappeared I jumped out of my bed out of instinct, but then I said that they must be wrong and they might have simply not notice them. It was terrible when we found out they were really gone. After a few minutes of worrying we decided that Laura and Ruxi should go search for the teacher (I say search because we didn't even know where their rooms were and in what room was the teacher in). I had to stay alone in the room to guard. To keep myself from panicking I started singing while thinking of it like a robbery case from my beloved mystery novels. We had already deduced that There was someone from the inside and they were more than one. The girls had luck because they met the teachers on the way, because one guy was very ill (not because f the drinking, that's later)and they had to get to the hospital. He came and called the police. We talked for half an hour only about this, we found out that someone entered the teacher's room with a KEY, luckily they were awake. The police came, they sent a criminologist (I was excited for the moment. When he entered the room we were playing cards (Wouldn't expect that from someone that just got all their valuable things stolen, right?). He started shouting at us (god, that annoyed us) as the teacher said later it's as if he started beating you because you don't know karate

). We had no doubt where the policemen jokes came from at that moment. Since the police came they got someone to repair our lock. Meanwhile we found out that we weren't the only ones(and the next day we found out that a teacher that stayed at the hotel got robbed with 2000RON). Later on we left the room and started searching for a place to buy a cheap phone(we haven't found one) and visited the entire city, We even get in Ostroveni

). Fortunately the teacher had 2 cellphones and gave us one (3 on 1 cellphone really united us, like a marriage... that's the perfect word). When we got back we found out that it happened before(nasty, right? You would expect more from the National Olympiad in Physics, right?).
